Alicemare is a horror-esque adventure game by △○□× (Miwashiba) made in WOLF RPG Editor.
A nice little adventure game with focus on story and characters. There are also some puzzles, but if you have played through at least one part of Professor Layton, they are not worth mentioning. Also the graphics can't do very well, especially if...
you haven't grown up with the big pixels. br>br>
So what's left?First of all there is the story and the characters: You play Allen, a wise child with amnesia, who is taken in by a good-natured man (who likes to be called 'teacher') and who offers shelter to four other wise children in his big estate. One night, after an event, Allen finds herself in a dream world, which is inhabited by two mysterious figures and which is somehow connected with the other wise children. In the course of the game, he reveals his own past, that of the other children and that of the good-natured man. You might think now that you can already guess about what is going on. . . but it's not what you think. There are also several ends that you should all look at to fully understand everything. Secondly, there's the soundtrack: I was really surprised to hear such well tuned songs in such a game. Partly also with well-known classical pieces. So I'm giving it a recommendation. Such small pearls should be emphasized.
Similar to 'To the moon', where you don't directly see what's behind it.
