Also known as Out Of This World, Another World is a pioneer action/platformer that released across more than a dozen platforms since its debut in 1991. Along the years, Another World has attained cult status among critics and sophisticated gamers alike. Another World chronicles the story of Lester Knight Chaykin a young scientist hurtled through space and time by a nuclear experiment that goes wrong. In an alien and inhospitable world, you will have to dodge, outwit, and overcome the host of alien monsters, while surviving an environment as deadly as your enemies. Only a perfect blend of logic and skill will get you past the deadly obstacles that lie in wait.
It's hard to plan. I don't want to know what my neighbors thought of me when I kept yelling around after every death as if I was really being massacred.
Mal times I pressed the wrong keys in my anger, which put me back into a situation through... which I died or quite simply, I didn't know what awaited me next and ran into the next section and died. In short, bring some strong nerves. This game is HARD. The story is simple: You end up in another world after a failed experiment and try to escape the hostile population back home. It took me about 2 hours. I admit I also used a guide because I got stuck too often and didn't know what to do. Because the game does not give any hints on the further procedure in the level, which is not necessarily bad, but could deter casual players. I noticed the control (played with XBOX360 controller). Because jumping is set to 'B' as well as 'Left Stick up', it often happens that you jump in the middle and, how could it be otherwise, into something deadly. That's frustrating.
I bought it on sale and I have to say that I was happy with the game. It was really difficult, but it was still fun to finally make progress because of the feeling of success. br>
For achievement hunters: Without much effort in the first walkthrough 100%. The only sticking point is the UFO Achievement, but find out for yourself or with 'a guide ^^
