Focus Home Interactive and Tindalos Interactive are pleased to present Battlef eet Gothic: Armada, a real time strategy adaptation of Games Workshop’s famous tabletop game for the PC. The game stages the mighty armada of the Imperial Navy’s Battlefleet Gothic against the insidious and galaxy threatening Chaos Black Crusade of Abaddon the Despoiler in dark, deadly and intense space battles.
Developed on Unreal Engine 4, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is an RTS in which the player takes command of one of these battlefleets composed of the most powerful spaceships from the Imperial, Chaos, Eldar and Ork forces, in a no-quarter given struggle for the control of the Gothic sector of space.
Pipe burst or revelation - hardly any other title has been discussed more than BFG. Some love it, others hate it deeply. br>
I've been at BETA now and spent 230 hours before the game. That's quite a lot for a casual player with family and... kids. Battlefleet must have a high addiction and fun factor in my eyes. Here are the reasons:
1st BFG warped you directly into the 40k universe. This is more successful than almost any other title from the games workshop franchise. It is dark, martial and graphically really very good. The ship models are really well mandelbug is demanding. Not too much, but given the ridiculous level of current titles, it is not easy. C64 games were more frustrating. It's easy to figure out how it works, but without tactics you end up a frustrated troll in the discussion forum. Honestly guys, I haven't seen this toxic flaming in any other game. The discussions are always the same: ''I am bad - makes the game easier - all my games from the Candy Crush series on my mobile phone are nice and easy'
3. The developers are on the ball. You patch regularly and add new content. The solo campaign is nice, but what keeps me in the game is the multiplayer mode. Especially 2vs2 is really fun, if you can do it. The individual fractions also play according to their individual style. Whether conventional (Empire) to exotic (Eldar), there is a lot to discover and tactical goes reasonably fast. I log in, the game takes a maximum of 10 minutes and finished breathes nostalgia. As a tabletop player, I loved the game and now have a PC implementation that is different, but still didn't give away the original. One last point: Yes, there are some bugs in the game and yes, it sometimes takes time to fix them. But BFG is playable. I think that some people get hung up on little things because they are just too frustrated and don't know how to help themselves in their inability.
