can't open doors on your own to get further, but always have to open the officer of the troop by script. Some of this border on the ridiculous and was already stupid in 2008. This has e. g. solved the original CoD from 2004 much more elegantly, despite hose levels. The story is very simple: Evil Russians and Arabs VS. Good Americans and Britons. There is hardly any character connection. Honestly, I liked the WW2 warhorns from CoD 1 better. The SAS and US Marine superheroes, on the other hand, are stencils at the very bottom of the gun. I don't expect a great story in a CoD, but at least the main characters should at least be a bit elaborated. This has also made the original CoD much better. But even in CoD 2 this was already a serious problem. This might not be so noticeable if the levels were designed less dull. Only the creep mission in Prypyat is really great atmospheric. If the rest of the game had been on a similar level, there would have been nothing to complain about. For me the game is only midfield, especially since they played the game in 5 hours.
