User Review[dM] BanKano
Darkest Dungeon, is a hard game and requires you, dying some beloved comrades-in-arms, to leave on the wayside, but if you are tough, this game is just right for tactical foxes and people for whom atmosphere is important in games.
+ Graphic... style & atmosphere: Nice to see how you can still create such a beautiful and dark atmosphere with a simpler graphic.
+ Hero Variability: For every style of play, I think there is a way to face the opponents in the dungeons.
+ Variety is good in the levels. There are different types of dungeons with different types of monsters.
+ Challenges you to play tactically. Often you can't recover all your treasures and have to decide what to take with you or if you want to go deeper into a dungeon or leave it alone and go home. The village (starting point): Not only the missions to which you send your heroes, but also the village fits perfectly into the game and simply shows how well thought-out the game is designed and the features there, to heal or prepare your fighters for the next fight. Because the fights are turn based, the game never stresses and is just a great thing if you just want to play an hour in the evening.
+ fair price-performance (my opinion)
+ new features introduced since release: shorter game (a normal game takes quite a long time), also DLCs available
- The difficulty is already very high (is for me actually the only real point of criticism of the game)
- To get through a game also means some luck at some point (if you know this, it is perhaps only a small deficiency, but you cannot load an old score)
- opponent bosses can sometimes also appear very random and surprise you then properly and sweep you off the field many times. (Don't let it frustrate, keep fighting! In the village there are still enough heroes waiting to die)
MEINE WERTUNG: 91 / 100
