DiRT Rally is a racing video game focused on rallying. Players compete in timed stage events on tarmac and off-road terrain in varying weather conditions. On release, the game features 17 cars, 36 stages from three real world locations, and asynchronous multiplayer. Rallycross and player versus player multiplayer modes are planned. Codemasters announced a partnership with the FIA World Rallycross Championship in July 2015. The early access version contains cars from the 1960's, 70's, 80's, Group B, Group A, 2010s Modern Rally, and Pikes Peak.

F ear behavior: I find it very close to reality, I am not a race or rally driver, but through my work at an automobile manufacturer and the resulting test drives on various surfaces such as asphalt, gravel, sand, snow and ice, as well as front and rear wheel drive, I can understand how it really feels and feel in some situations exactly what I have already experienced. Also, beside the track it is brilliantly implemented, be it the trench, the turf or in Sweden the lateral snow banks, it fits and is for me a highlight to realize this so perfectly in a simulation. I can only judge the feedback from the steering wheel and that's just as ingenious if you take the trouble to adjust the settings (it takes time, but it's worth it) as the whole package. I advise against the Tweak FFB, where a rear-wheel drive feels like a front-wheel drive. It's all on board, you just have to configure it right. Real is real and that includes the steering angle. Personally, I have set the Controller Menu to Max. 1080 degrees. CM does the rest and adjusts it to the actual steering angle of the selected vehicle, just activate u201eSoft locku201c in the menu. No fear, you don't have to crank, short and fast is enough at high speeds and depending on the drive, rear = throttle and front = handbrake you can master every hairpin, at least mostly :-D, the best way to get an all-wheel drive is the Scandinavian Flick around the corner. If you're not looking for quick success, if you're looking for a challenge and want to face the reality which is very well implemented for me and see defeat as an incentive, then this is the place to be and you'll be rewarded with a lot of high flights in addition to some frustrations!
