I saw Dynasty Warriors for the first time back then, that was still the fourth part. He was playing on Chi Bi. Since then I gambled almost every part to the console, since the 8th then to PC. I also played the online part of it, so I think I can do my...

First of all, to whom such button-mashes should not say, perhaps stay away from it. Even if you don't like the Chinese setting, you should rather refrain from buying. br>
To the game: Basically, what you would expect from a Dynasty Warrior: Giant massacres, old familiar characters, but also new ones. Personally, I liked the 7th part of the narrative style better, there was a narrator who always tuned you in to the coming battles. Here only one text after the other is faded in and one can read through it. . .. next time, please tell the story, you can do it. Otherwise a quite successful game with very ambitious 'endless play'. You can invest tens of hours there. Characters feel good, weapons very well done (not like in the 6th where almost everyone got u00b4ne pole weapon. . .) and through the new Lu Bu campaign you get in addition to the 3 known (since the 7th then 4 with Jin) again a top with noble game hours. Alternative ways / missions with alternative campaign path (if you have fulfilled the conditions for it before) ensure that you play through the story a second time, just to see how it could have been different (affects the characters, for example, if you prevent the deaths of certain key persons, they appear or are partly later even playable). What surprised me personally was the fact that at the end of the actual campaign I looked back at past battles. . . maybe a tad of me, but I never had a tad of me with my predecessors. Optically of course no brilliant performance, that's clear. But this line has never been. Biggest shortcoming definitely the totally overpriced DLCs. . . was already upsetting me at the Playsi. I think you can buy DLCs here for over 100€, which don't do you much good. . . Original costumes e. g. In addition, the control on the PC takes getting used to, but I could get used to it relatively early. If you find it more difficult, you might want to use the controller (e. g. attack on J, block on O, mouse attack on L). br>
Recommendation to buy? For fans of the series definitely yes!
My assessment: In some points the 7th part was better (story, atmosphere created by it), but the 8th also did some things right. Koei likes to do experiments, which I only approve of, which sometimes succeeds and sometimes does not. So far, I was always confident there.
