Fear Equation is a turn-based strategy with rogue-like elements where you must take control of a modified freight train in an end-of-the-world scenario. The landscape has been overrun by a thick, deadly fog that manifests the nightmares of those inside it. Your survival depends on tactical planning and careful resource management. As the Engineer, youll need to rescue survivors, analyse their dreams and build defenses to protect them from their own imaginations. Complicating matters, passengers have their own theories as to how the fog was created and will form inter-carriage factions based on their beliefs. Every game is unique and you can customise your Engineer to dramatically change how the game is played.
Ignore my hours, I played the game for many hours before it on Steam. German: Ignore my playing time, I played FE for countless hours long before the steam release. German: If Snowpiercer and The Fog had a child and Screwfly turned it into a complex strategy...
game, FE would come out. Screwfly's 2-man team is known for their slightly different games (Deadnauts & Zafehouse Diaries for example) and therefore not recommended for everyone. Who has played the previous titles, or in general is a friend of complex (and sometimes quite difficult) survival strategy games will find his joy here. Everyone else should probably stay away :)If Snowpiercer and the Fog had a baby and Screwfly turned it into a complex strategy game, it would turn out to be a FE. The 2-man DevTeam is known for its different types of strategy games (like Deadnauts & Zafehouse Diaries). This is also the reason why FE is not for everyone. If you played their previous games, or if you are a fan of complex (and sometimes very hard) survival strategies, then you will probably enjoy FE. Everyone else should avoid that. 'It's, as I said, not a game for everyone.
