When darkness falls and the land is robbed of light, four youths are chosen by the crystals to set forth on a journey to save the world.
Final Fantasy 3 was a huge surprise title for me. As a fan of the final fantasy I was expecting a nice little RPG that entertained me a bit. I never would have thought that this 'a little' would become a huge fun that wouldn't let me go. br>The game...
itself is a remake of a game that was released in 1990. However, the remake contains only a graphical layout and is the same content (except for a story-irrelevant content) as the original. For the fact that the game is now 15 years old, the game has a lot and can be compared very well with today's games in terms of variety. After all, there are 23 different professions in the game itself, all of which feel completely different and encourage you to experiment with combinations. This ensures a lot of fun in addition to the main story. The main story itself isn't that great anyway. The main characters remain quite pale until the end, although very often good templates are given for more depth. Unfortunately, it's the same with side characters. of all side characters there was only one where I liked the course very much. If the actions with various side characters were longer, there would certainly be more depth. Maybe it just wasn't possible to work out stories that long back then. Besides, it's a normal good versus evil process. Say: He who is evil and wants to destroy the world and must therefore be killed. There is also no plot twist or something that calls the reasons of the bad guys. That is, however, also the only negative point for me. Even the relatively short playing time of almost 40 hours is not so bad for me, because thanks to the grind (which I also enjoy in final fantasy titles) you can invest a lot of time in the game. The level of difficulty itself can sometimes be very tidy. Regular storage on the world map should therefore be a matter of course, because sometimes you get into situations that you would not have expected and otherwise a lot of progress could be lost. But if you grin a little, even the toughest opponents have equal rights. The bosses are never easy. No matter how gross you're overleveled. Overall, Final Fantasy 3 is a very good old-school RPG that can score with not an epic story but a great gameplay that will keep you entertained for a very long time. Every Final Fantasy fan should check out the game anyway, because Final Fantasy 3 started with a lot of things (incantations, mogrys, crystals and much more), which also contained many future Final Fantasy parts.
