Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy is a punishing climbing game, a homage to Jazzuos 2002 B-Game classic Sexy Hiking. You move the hammer with the mouse, and thats all there is. With practice, youll be able to jump, swing, climb and fly. Great mysteries and a wonderful reward await the master hikers who reach the top of the mountain. To quote Jazzuo himself: "The hiking action is very similar to way you would do it in real life, remember that and you will do well". FEATURES: Climb up an enormous mountain with nothing but a hammer and a pot. Listen as I make philosophical observations about the problem at hand. Between 2 and ∞ hours of agonizing gameplay, depending. The median time to finish for my playtesters was 5 hours, but the mean was closer to ∞. Lose all your progress, over and over. Feel new types of frustration you didnt know you were capable of. Magical reward awaits hikers who reach the top.
Short and sweet of me there is a extremely positive rating for the game.
'Getting Over It' is a game about curse and blessing at the same time. It tests your ambition, patience and nerves. Self-control is the key in this game.... However, this is not as simple as written, because with every mistake there is the danger of starting from the very bottom in the true sense. To top this off, one hears whispers and 'touching music' or[really] helpful tips in the following case. It is very important in this game to take short breaks at certain places. Once you breathe deeply, true miracles can happen. In this game the success after a long fight is real victory, especially because you see something new of the game. I would recommend it to anyone who has problems with (rage) tantrums or swearing when gambling. This is simply therapy against it. br>
I would be very happy about a rating of my first rewiev and wish you all a lot of fun climbing. ''Power lies in peace'. br>
