Become the ultimate Dungeon Master as you bribe, entice and coax your heroes through their adventures on a quest to restore your guild to its ultimate glory! Guild of Dungeoneering is a turn-based dungeon crawler with a twist: instead of controlling the hero you build the dungeon around him. Using cards drawn from your Guild decks, you lay down rooms, monsters, traps and of course loot! Meanwhile your hero is making his own decisions on where to go and what to fight. But will he be strong enough to take on the dungeons overlord? In between dungeon runs you manage your Guild, building new rooms to attract new classes of adventurer and to expand your decks of cards with more powerful items and events.
Varied dungeon crawler that has introduced a nice feature with hand cards. The cute drawings are very reminiscent of Munchkin (Pegasus games). The game invites rather to short rounds. So, the move to release the game for the mobile platform is not a bad...
idea. Sometimes in between goes more on the mobile phone than on the, PC or laptop. This can also be seen in the long-term motivation.
Simple to play. Hard to Master! Under this motto I would classify this game. The basic functions are easy to understand. However, to defeat certain bosses you either need background knowledge, or you try it with the crowbar 'TryandError'. Some game sessions have already been supported by one or the other ARRGH! moment because the bosses seemed inhumanly strong. And when you get into the 'wrong' Heroes and items, well then cheers meal! Then the relentless farming contest begins, in order to get to know the gold for the 'more suitable'. figures and equipment. Also, a reason why I have never managed to 'clean' all areas since purchase (2015). Despite the critical aspects. . .
. . . I recommend the game. You just can't resist great soundtrack and lovingly drawn/animated characters, even if it sometimes hurts. Likes
