Deckbuilding comes to life in Hand of Fate! An infinitely replayable series of quests - earn new cards, build your deck, then try to defeat it! In a cabin at the end of the world, the game of life and death is played. Draw your cards, play your hand, and discover your fate.
It's been a while since I played through Hand of Fate, but the memories remain. I have rarely admired an opponent so much, although I wanted to kick him so much in the sh** at the same moment! Honestly, he's the only real NPC in this game, but...
you can tell. Excellent, from character design (both looks and traits) to synchronization. And as far as the gameplay is concerned: HoF is clearly the tabletop brother of Dark Souls for me. The game can go well if you get good armor and skills early on (and you're good at it yourself), but just as well it can take you apart very early, and that is completely detached from your own skills, so that you want to bite into the controller. . . . . . This can be a sticking point for some, but the dealer's usual, nasty comments have always led me to start over and over again to finally be able to speak my mind to that person. And because of the dozens of variations, starting with the composition of the equipment/tactics up to the layout of the dungeons, this game has an enormous replay value! Looking forward to Hand of Fate 2 like anything else!
