Husk is a down-to-earth survival-horror, about harm, pain and seeking forgiveness in Shivercliff, a town abandoned for unknown reasons. A tribute to classical thrillers like Silent Hill or Twin Peaks. Its 1995, you're Matthew Palmer and you've just woken up after a train crash. Theres nobody around you. Especially, there's no trace of your wife and daughter. The only sign indicating where you are says: Welcome to Shivercliff.
I don't know why there are so many negative reviews here. So far the game runs perfectly and without problems. I also write AFTER the patch. I think the game is very good so far! It explains that it wants to be a tribute to the horror in Silent Hill...
and I think that's exactly what it does. The graphics are very nice, looks very good for me. The atmosphere is very oppressive. From time to time there are easy startled, but if you expect mega jumpscares here, you are probably in the wrong place. In and of itself it seems to me as if Husk would try to take up old horror games, when they didn't try to score with jumpscares and **** u2665u2665t, but with an amazingly good atmosphere, which for me is a horror game. The puzzles are designed in such a way that you not only have to click, but sometimes you even have to 'cooperate'. A door only opens if you drag the mouse in the corresponding direction. So far, the game has been very successful for me and I am looking forward to exploring it until the end! br>PS: Even after playing through the game I would recommend the game without restriction! There were no problems with me.
