In Lords of the Fallen, you are Harkyn, the best of the worst of humanity. A convicted criminal, Harkyn is given a chance for redemption. But just as the rulers of the world get close to finding a way to banish all evil from humans, an army of the long-ago defeated god attacks the human realm. Released from prison, Harkyn and his mentor, Kaslo, set out on a mission to stop the war.
My very first review: I don't understand the bad rating for the game and it doesn't deserve it either.
I was put off by the rating at the beginning, luckily, I decided to buy. The only thing that bothered me about the game was that when... you postpone side quests, they are often no longer achievable. Nothing more needs to be said about Dark Soul's similarity. Who liked Dark Souls and longs for a similar game does not make anything wrong with this title. On sale for 20€ is perfectly okay. It’s a pity that the very atmospheric world is not really diverse (everything compared to Dark Souls). The gameplay is similar to Dark Souls and therefore wonderful. Boss fights are emotionally more frequent than in Dark Souls and are also a lot of fun here, although bosses are also created on the first attempt, which is rather the exception in Dark Souls. I loved the game and I would get it again!
