Maize is a first-person adventure game about what happens when two scientists misinterpret a memo from the U.S. Government and create sentient corn. And that last sentence is pretty much the least ridiculous thing about the game. Explore an abandoned farm and a not-so-abandoned underground research facility as you uncover the mysteries around Maize, and possibly learn a bit about yourself along the way. Or maybe not. With a colourful cast of characters and an absolutely absurd world, Maize offers up a unique experience that keeps the surprises coming. Seriously, they're everywhere.
I played the game today in my test games stream - https://www. twitch. tv/videos/121050428 - within 4h....
It's a funny and cheeky puzzle game where you get a lot of insults and every now and then moments of 'What the hell, HÄ' is offered. You get thrown a little ignorance into the game and only at the end you really get to know what the story behind the search tasks and a self is, but on the way to the story there are many funny moments, insults from a Russian bear and talking corn plants, whose hobbies are probably many naps. The game is completely in English with small ragged Russian, but they are in no way important. The developers' favorite words seem to be 'idiots', 'garbage' and 'stupid', but there are some more insults on Postits messages from two never seen gentlemen named Ted and Bob that make you smile over and over again. The ending was both sad and questionable but an end. br>
So in short - if you want to be insulted by a Russian bear, surrounded by maize and looking for things and want to master your way through a questionable building:
GET IT YOU, IT IS RECOGNISED! You Idiots.
