Nuclear Throne is a post-apocalyptic roguelike-like top-down shooter. Not the final hope of humanity post-apocalyptic, but humanity is extinct and mutants and monsters now roam the world post-apocalyptic. Fight your way through the wastelands with powerful weaponry, collecting radiation to mutate some new limbs and abilities. All these things and more you could do if only you were good at this game. Can you reach the Nuclear Throne?
I was going to do it like this:
Before even playing it: negative. why? because I wanted to buy this game for such a long time. but it was NEVER EVER on sale!! It looked so awesome and had tons of really good reviews, but I don’t... know why, maybe greedy devs, or busy devs or some any other reason why it was never there to be bought at a discount! But (now) it is:
Just as I expected the game is super super awesome and so much fun!! : D
Very simple concept but so addicting! Beautiful pixelart! And despite its simplicity it doesn’t feel like a cheap game but actually one that the devs really thought about while developing it because there is a variety of upgrades, weapons, characters, etc. So, it’s simple in a way but not one that makes it get boring and it still seems very thought through.
BEAUTIFUL GAME and I'm so happy I finally bought it. Normal price is absolutely justified (even though I was still missing it on sales)!
BUY IT YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!
By now I'm 20 hours into the game and its one of the best ones I bought in a while!! Played all those hours within the last two weeks or even less depending on when exactly I bought it (don’t remember the day). I didn’t get to play it through once yet but as I know by now even after one playthrough it offers much more fun playing because it has a great replayability.
Besides expecting it to be good, and the reasons like beautiful pixelart graphics, varying gameplay, etc. that I already mentioned, the reason I can see it’s such a great game, is because of how much I played it within this short time. BUY IT!!!
