Octodad: Dadliest Catch is a game about destruction, deception, and fatherhood. The player controls Octodad, a dapper octopus masquerading as a human, as he goes about his life. Octodads existence is a constant struggle, as he must master mundane tasks with his unwieldy boneless tentacles while simultaneously keeping his cephalopodan nature a secret from his human family.
For me Octodad: Deadliest Catch is a very successful game, albeit a bit short. It combines simple puzzles, a successful control that leads to many funny u201e mishapsu201c and a great deal of humor. In the 11 levels you have to guide the octopus father...
through the daily family madness but please without too big mishaps because otherwise the level starts again. One is often pursued by an obsessed cook, the only one who is aware that this is not a father but a lunch. So, you stumble, slide and fall at a wedding, at a morning breakfast for the family, while shopping (unforgettable how your dad winds through the refrigerators) or in the sea aquarium. Despite the shorter playing time (3-5 hours), the workshop connection and couch-coop guarantee a high long-term motivation and a high replay value. Personally, I see Octodad as the best I call's award-movement game and that for the whole family.
