Drop in to Olliwood and prepare for finger-flippin' mayhem in this follow up to cult skateboarding smash OlliOlli. The iconic skater is going all green-screen with a stunning new look, plucking you from the street and dropping you squarely in the middle of the big screen's most bodacious cinematic locations.
I was always a fan of skateboarding games like Tony Hawk and later Skate. Unfortunately, skate did not continue after the third part, which was especially unfortunate because of the innovative 'Flick-It'-control. Here the various tricks were performed...
by a smooth movement of the right stick, which felt excellent and was very satisfying, especially with more complex flips. br>br>
OlliOlli2 (and certainly the first part I didn't play) take this 'tricks per stick'-principle and transfer it to a sidescroller that is very fast and still fun. At the beginning you don't dare to coordinate the tricks with manuals and grinds as well as reverts permanently - but you still learn it very quickly and it goes over into flesh and blood. 26 hours of playing time for all 27 top-class players and being a little sad is all that remains for me to recommend the purchase to anyone who is halfway interested.
