Quest of Dungeons is a turn based dungeon crawler game featuring a good old 16-bit retro artistic look. By playing as either a Warrior, Wizard, Assassin or Shaman you have to traverse dungeons, defeat enemies and loot everything you can in order to survive.
Quest of Dungeons. . . well, it looks like Zelda but of course it's turn-based and not 'real-time'. At first, I was disappointed but after playing for the first time without dying, even very happy. It's the first real hack, slash and loot that...
has me under its spell. Perfect for the coffee break! Very easy entry into the world of Rouge-like & Perma-Death Genru00e9s
+ The 8/16-bit graphics
+ Simple, so you can start playing immediately without digging out a manual
+ Dungeons are regenerated after each reboot. spells of the monsters, among others ''The Princess is in another Castle' or 'Error 404 not Found'
- The length of the game is relatively short (approx. 2-3 hours, not counting all of yesterday's death and the preparatory work)
- For 4, 99€ therefore also a bit expensive
- Quest (Well I think there could be better quest than 'Kill the Scellet Warrior' or 'Find Item XYZ”)
- Balance of classes. The Assasine is very overpowered compared to the Warrior. (A minus for the balance, not for the classes themselves! )
