I purchased 'Robinson: The Journey' as it now provides native support for HTC Vive and supports the Vive controllers. Due to the many negative reviews I was skeptical if I should really invest the 39, 99 Euro for this game. Since I can gain something...
from comfortable exploration games and also walking simulators with good graphics, I made the purchase and I have to say that I am enthusiastic. I'm enthusiastic about the pure beauty of this VR game. I just have a lot of fun exploring these beautiful landscapes. I had that feeling last on 'Lone Echo'. The entire flora and fauna has been credibly implemented. The story and the soundtrack could have been a bit 'adult' for my taste, but it's still okay. The game mechanics are simple: Scan animals and insects and solve search puzzles. Cable cars may be used and climbing is permitted. Sometimes you have to solve a puzzle from a bird's eye view, which makes you marvel at the landscape in a thumbnail view. Nothing special so and on the monitor the game would be for me so only 'ok' but in VR it understands ' Robinson: The Journey' to create a very good immersion that I have experienced on this scale in a few other VR games so far. br>
I haven't played through the game yet and I am curious how it will go on and above all I am looking forward to the new landscapes to discover. I would recommend 'Robinson: The Journey' to anyone who likes more cozy and beautiful exploration games and it is definitely a must buy for people who like dinosaurs. br>
