I have when I ask 'do you recommend this game? “Clicked'' on 'Yes'.
Because I want to advise everyone to make up their own mind IF the game is on sale. Yesterday, for just under 4, 00 €, I took the chance and as an old-established... RollerCoaster Tycoon fan I saw for the first time the newest (and probably last?) offshoot of the series. Of course, I knew all the bad ratings and the reasons behind them. That's why I would never have bought the game at full price. And yes, I would have been angry if I had bought the game for the full purchase price of 50, 00 or 60, 00 €. After almost 4 hours of gameplay I can also confirm:
Im Sale > Definitely access! No! even the estimated 15, 00 € outside the sales department are absolutely fine! )
Cleanly measured on the predecessor (and I only make comparisons to the predecessor) the game looks 'okay'. Not exactly ahead of his time, but absolutely fine and even pretty in places. The selection of ferry shops and booths is slimmed down, but sufficient. That water attractions and the like are missing. . . well. We'll see. They're still working and patching, it seems to me.
Minus points RollerCoaster Tycoon World collects then for the first time 'so richtig' in the control. I find it much less intuitive than its predecessor and I just don't want to get used to it. A test for patience and nerves are the ways and queues, the laying and adaptation of which sometimes resembles a puzzle game, in which the last two parts simply do not want to fit into each other due to production and you fiddle and fiddle. Decorative items are very rare and creating your own buildings and facades is idler than fun. Even with a good PC the performance is sometimes a bit hooky and it is not really explainable why. br>
That's how all the 'little things' add up to a heap that can cloud the fun of the game enormously. But if you take the game for 3, 74 €, then you do nothing wrong and can still have a few hours of fun
. . . if it doesn't just smear under your nose and the progress is lost.
