Developed exclusively for VR, Star TrekTM: Bridge Crew will immerse you in the Star Trek universe. The game puts you and your friends in the heart of the USS Aegis. Your mission: explore a largely uncharted sector of space known as The Trench, in hopes of locating a suitable new home world for the decimated Vulcan populace. The Klingon Empire is also active in the region, and their objective is a threat to the Federation's plans. Make strategic decisions and coordinate actions with your crew to complete the mission. In co-op, you can form a crew of four players to serve in the roles of Captain, Helm, Tactical, and Engineer. In addition to a dynamic storyline, the game features an Ongoing Missions mode that procedurally generates missions for countless hours of solo and co-op adventure. In Star Trek: Bridge Crew, you'll need more than just individual skill to overcome the challenges: communication, trust, and close crew coordination are the keys to victory.
The first 2. 5h now behind me and I must say, to 4 Coop makes really mood! :)There were no problems until a back to desktop with crash message (shortly after the host interrupted the connection).
Vive and Rift users were together in one session -... everything went smoothly. Among other things we played the training mission and the first ep - each about 30 min.
5 eps seems to be up to date plus the 'Free flight'. Mode with randomly generated missions. br>
After the missions there was a 'debrief' with a list of how and what was done
and you got points with which you climbed in rank. Optics and sound convey the Star Trek feeling and to be part of the bridge crew on a ship.
Soloplay is certainly only half as funny as with a group of 4! A clear buy recommendation for VR headset users who always wanted to fly a spaceship in the Coop. I hope there will be more in that direction / for the game!
