Stories Untold is a compilation tape of four experimental text adventures, including a remaster of the original episode The House Abandon.
I got to know Stories Untold through the stream of Gronkh, it looked very interesting. I asked a friend to buy me where it was on offer, and I didn't regret it. The game has a nice graphical design and shines with a gameplay mechanics I haven't...
seen in ages. It's a text adventure, everything that happens happens happens in your head. You need to get involved in the game and play in peace. The game is divided into 4 episodes. The puzzles are getting harder and harder, because the game itself is not very long I won't give an example.
Beautiful graphics. Good Sound Kullise. Text Adventure what seemed extinct. (Could be that I'm wrong. )
puzzles that get harder and harder but never unfair.
I'd like to write something about the stories, but because I'm too scared about spoilers I'll just say. The hammer
horror that takes place in the head, and does not throw around with cheap jumpscares. No tutorial for beginners in the text adventure area. (A small example e. g. would suffice. )
You have to know English to understand the game. (It's not a real negative point, but for people who don't speak English, it's very difficult to play. )
A masterpiece, since long no game has managed to build such a mood. For me as a text adventure newbie it was the entry, a little harder but you learn it fast. The 9, 99€ are well invested for the game. I hope the developers will release more of these games.
