Super Meat Boy is a tough as nails platformer where you play as an animated cube of meat whos trying to save his girlfriend (who happens to be made of bandages) from an evil fetus in a jar wearing a tux. Our meaty hero will leap from walls, over seas of buzz saws, through crumbling caves and pools of old needles. Sacrificing his own well being to save his damsel in distress. Super Meat Boy brings the old school difficulty of classic NES titles like Mega Man 2, Ghost and Goblins and Super Mario Bros. 2 (The Japanese one) and stream lines them down to the essential no BS straight forward twitch reflex platforming.
Super Meat Boy is a funny little game designed with love. I haven't played this game yet, but I'm already writing my review. I would recommend this game to everyone with a lot of patience, because it is really not easy but still fun. In all jump...
and run manner you jump through all kinds of deadly apertures and try not to be processed to hack, which often fails. The frequent death does not interrupt the game fun, because there are no loading times between the deaths. For this reason, the mental 'once again' creeps in quickly. With each additional 'once more' you get a little bit further, so that one time it can quickly turn into several hundred times (slight exaggeration). br>The variety of levels promises a large number of hours of play, which I'm looking forward to. br>
I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a crisp jump to run challenge. br>
