A trains whistle sounds in the dead of night. Snow falls on deserted tracks. Somewhere, in the city, a woman prepares to leave on a journey that will change her life. Somewhere, in the country, a man drives to his final destination. Witness The Charnel House Trilogy, the chronicle of one fateful night aboard a train bound for Augur Peak. Three thrilling, horrifying adventure games in one, from the depths of the Sepulchre, starring Madeleine Roux, Peter Willington, Jonathan Grier, Jim Sterling, and Ben Chandler as Grub. With art by Ivan Ulyanov and Ben Chandler, and music by Jack de Quidt, nervous_testpilot and Bryan Henderson.
It's really worth it on special offer. The game is very atmospheric. It’s very short, so you'll normally be through in 2 hours, even if you play comfortably and interact with a lot of objects. The game is rather easy to classify in terms...
of difficulty. However, the game has a lot of unexpected twists and turns, very good speakers, some of whom you already know from the Blackwell series, and gets under your skin with many topics. Subtle horror but very entertaining for me to play. The game is not ridiculous at any point and partly reminds of Stephen King stories. I can imagine it's a matter of taste and not everyone will like it. But I find the game very good, I think it's good that it's not too long and was fascinated by the story from beginning to end.
I am very impressed and recommend it because of the very deliberate action.
