User ReviewThe Kafofu
In 'This War of Mine' you play a small group of survivors into a civil war. In a bombed house, you try to make what you need to survive. Equipped with a fridge, a simple stove and few resources you have to satisfy the needs of your people like hunger...
and thirst. Injuries and illnesses
should also be treated. During the day you expand your shelter while at night you go looting. It is possible to steal and even kill by stealth, whereby the latter two bring the characters into a moral conflict. Morality is very important in this game and forces you to make difficult decisions. Am I stealing these drugs to cure Bruno of his illness and made all my group members sad? Or do I try to exchange what I need so that I lack the building material again? It doesn't matter how you turn it around, there's always something missing. This scarcity of resources, the moral feeling of the group members, the bombed ruins and the fitting sound give this game a real atmosphere and a touch of realism.
When you get involved, this game takes you to another, if not a beautiful, world and makes you think. For me it's a top game,
