The King & The Warlord is the second Lords Pack for Total War: WARHAMMER. Bolstering the forces of both The Greenskins and The Dwarfs, it introduces famous rival characters, new iconic units and new battle maps from the world of Warhammer Fantasy Battles to your Grand Campaigns and Custom/Multiplayer battles. Two new Legendary Lords… …with new quest chains, magic items and skill trees Two new additional Lord types Six all-new battlefield units 22 all-new elite Regiments of Renown
Finally, a DLC that pays off and above all. . . the price is right. After the 'disappointment' of the price-performance ratio of Grim and the Bolt and Beastmen, they finally realized here that they have to deliver more for a rather high price. br>
For... the 7 Euro and a few squeezed you get:
-Soldier units of the Dwarves and the Green Today
-2 new commanders
-New units for the two races (Ranger for Dwarves, Squiqs for Gobbis)
In this respect it is exactly the same so far, as with the Empire and Vampire DLC.
Now the cherry on the cream:
Playable new factions:
- An NPC dwarf faction (Very hard entry, you pay until you have recaptured the capital Karak Azarak 50 more maintenance per unit and you have allies who are nevertheless quite wargeil)
-Orcs of the Bloody Hand (Were those the right?) But yes, exactly. . .. an NPC Orc faction is now playable. . . but not tested yet
< halfmoon clan (Former NPC faction) . . . yes you can play gobbos. If the other DLCs on that scale I would never complain about the high price, since they make more and more parts of the game accessible and not 'just' blow in 2-3 new units for two factions, a commander and a few mercenaries. I just hope they keep up this trend (The mercenary units of chaos and animal people are still missing. . . with the animal people, you could make the individual tribes playable, where chaos might even set the ultra-hard mode and activate the barbarian tribes)
Despite everything I hope that the next DLC will contain a new race for once (No matter if forest elves or Bretons) But they should then please have their mercenary units with them directly.
