What is Autonauts about?
Autonauts is a colony simulation with programmable robots. In the game, you land on a planet and have to create a settlement out of the ground. Use designs to create rudimentary manufacturing tools and slowly create a few workerbots to support you. Teach and shape their artificial intelligence using a visual programming language before instructing them to tackle the creation of your colony. Watch in wonder, as a planet you have formed becomes home to a civilisation of workerbots waiting for your orders. Autonauts combines agriculture, simulation, crafting, construction, assembly line production and resource management. It has been under development since 2017 and has been downloaded more than 300.000 times during its pre-alpha phase.
