Chess Ultra is the first chess game I bought on Steam. While the nice graphics and the gameplay have already convinced me after a short time, there are some points of criticism that will hopefully be considered in upcoming patches. Pro:- appealing visualization- nice music- different tutorials in single player mode- different game modes regarding the timer (flash, 45 minutes, endless etc. ))- is a lot of fun to play with friendsContra:There is a very serious problem - since the timer only starts once both players have entered the match, it often happens that an opponent waits a few hours until he enters the game and makes his opening move. From this moment on, time runs out for both players. If you are not at the PC at this time, you have automatically lost, because the time runs out. It's just very annoying and pointless to lose EloPoints or tournaments, for example, because your opponent doesn't make his move until 4pm, even though you started the game at 8pm. A solution would be to consider the current game invalid if one of the two players does not enter or make the opening move within a short period of time. I hope that a future patch will fix this problem - then it would really be a great experience online! Nevertheless, I recommend this game if you want to play against friends who don't live next door!
