I want to gamble the game for ages, and always something had come up. At first too expensive (just as a PEGI import) then it fell into oblivion and then found here on GameGator purely by chance and of course accessed immediately.So, what exactly is Dying Light?Let me put it this way: Dying Light is above all atmospherically the most authentic and most beautiful homage/ declaration of love/ bow to George A. Romero's life's work which you can get as a game at all, dot.ch and besides Dying Light is a splatter/horror action RPG grandiose mixed with Parkour elements as you know it from Mirrors Edge etc..You will be thrown over the smaller metropolitan city Harran somewhere in the Turkish province in the middle of a hermetically sealed quarantine zone full of rotting zombies, welcome to Survival Horror!More I will not spoil here (the story is not the biggest strength of the game now) it's all about leveling combat and parkour to become stronger, and that's bitterly necessary now because you are in the beginning an absolute nothing. Which brings us to the point of criticism: the rather tight entry into the game. In the beginning, you are equipped with a medikit of fence slats and maybe a wrench (and you should look out for building plans first.)In Addition to that the first orders are distributed quite far in the rather big city and you even have to penetrate quite broad and dangerous areas as a Noob. Also, side quests should be completed whenever possible (you need absolutely everything at the beginning!)The best way to avoid confrontation with zombie groups at the beginning, even with 3-4 zombies it can get hairy because they can take a lot more this time than in Techland's predecessor games. In addition, every death also means a loss of a few skill points, which can be quite frustrating just before level ups.If you have survived the first 3-4 hours it gets better and better in everything (quests, parkour, exploring, unlocking) and the story picks up speed again.I'd like to mention a fantastic feature: the day and night system. You can also do your missions at night and get almost double experience AAABER, of course, the zombies are 1. more aggressive 2. more agile 3. farsighted and can sometimes even climb and you may meet creatures you have never seen during the day and never wanted.
