What is Goliath about?
Get ready for a giant-sized adventure!
You should know better than to stumble through mysterious portals. Yet here you are, a stranger in a strange land made from the jumbled fragments of a hundred dead civilizations. And for better or worse, you are not alone. A war rages between strange factions, but all tremble before the giant creatures that stop across the land.
Time to bring some balance to the world with a giant robotic fist! You're a handy sort, exactly the type of person that can learn how to build giant robotic suits. So get exploring! Find the plans, find the parts, assemble the machines, and show the creatures in this strange world who's the boss.
When writing these lines, the game was character level 12, therefore of course not very far as far as game content is concerned and therefore this is just a. . . . First impression:Fun, a good mix of different genres, nice background story/idea, nice graphics. The protagonist crashed with a plane but is no longer on Earth. His co-pilot has landed somewhere else and the player sets off to find the co-pilot and then looks for a way home. You meet different factions facing each other in this world. The gameplay seemed to me a bit unbalanced at the beginning with regard to distributed/claimed damage, since levy opponents deal quite a lot of damage while you don't really do much yourself. Fights are therefore sometimes quite long without being a big challenge so far. During the game you get better equipment/building plans and can also upgrade your own warehouse. This offers further possibilities to attack enemies and to try different tactics (e. g. laying mines). Collecting different materials is sometimes a bit tricky if you want to target something specific, but that can also be due to the keyboard control.
