I bought the game before the release, because I gave the developers of the intellectual predecessor: Titan Quest a certain advance of trust. To begin with, I was not disappointed. You can see how the developers have fixed all those little bugs and quirks that were still found in Titan Quest. Furthermore, the great love for detail becomes clear through countless Easter Eggs and allusions. Since the early access phase, the game has evolved steadily and, together with Path of Exile, I think it is currently the best ARPG. The extreme scope of the game speaks for itself. It can take up to 50 hours to complete the main quest and all its side quests. Then there are still lots of side quests, hidden tasks and secret dungeons for the late game. I liked the DLC Crucible, but it is recommended for those who have already spent several hours in the main game. Except for new items and a last man standing mode it doesn't offer much. On the other hand, it is quite inexpensive for this size. Finally, it should be noted that the game is constantly being updated with new free patches and content. Conclusion: If you like Titan Quest, Diablo or Path of Exile, you should definitely try Grim Dawn!
