What is Kona about?

Northern Canada, 1970. A strange blizzard ravages Atamipek Lake. Step into the shoes of a detective to explore the eerie village, investigate surreal events, and battle the elements to survive. The first installment in a series of four games, Kona is a chilly interactive tale you wont soon forget.

October 1970. W. Hamilton, a rich industrialist who owns a hunting manor in Northern Canada, reports several cases of vandalism perpetrated against his property. Unable to find out who dared to commit these acts, Hamilton calls Carl Faubert, a renowned private detective to handle the affair.

In Kona, Carl becomes trapped up in the deep north, engulfed in an unexpected snowstorm. The player incarnates detective Faubert, who must shed light on the mysterious events befalling the area.

That's how I would describe Kona: Supernatural Detective Adventure in The Long Dark Gewandt. Say like nothing? That's why you should give the game a chance. If you liked Firewatch or The Long Dark, you might also like it here. There are a few survival and crafting elements that integrate well into the story. Setting & Story: The story is mysterious and raises some questions. The setting is snowy and in French. In short: Quebec. At least somewhere in Quebec. You play a private detective who's supposed to meet his rich client at a gas station. But upon arrival you realize this place is deserted! A search for answers begins: What's going on here?Miscellaneous:Technology and gameplay are easy to handle. . . Couldn't complain. I'm curious how the game and the story will develop. I'm happy to see more of those games that Survival and Crafting build into a story. The narrator's voice is sometimes strange, but you get used to it. All in all I'm happy to have another atmospheric story game in my schedule. Live Lets-Play
