As the successor to Steel Division: Normandy 44, Steel Division 2 once again lets us compete against each other in strategic real-time strategy battles. New, however, is the turn-based tactical overview map, on which you can move your units and position them for battle. This results in a little more playful depth than in the previous version. However, the actual battles have changed little. Fans of the first part will also find their way in Steel Division 2 immediately.
The setting for the second part is Operation Bagration. This is the Russian advance in the summer of 1944, when the German front line could be broken and the Red Army could gain an enormous advantage for the rest of the war.
