What is The Surge 2 about?

The Surge 2 is a direct sequel to the first game. On your way to Jericho City, your plane crashes due to a mysterious storm and you must make an emergency landing on the outskirts of a city. Weeks later, you wake up in an abandoned city prison. Armored soldiers enforce martial law, robots run amok, and a dark, ever-growing Nanostorm brews over the city...
To survive, you must explore the vast, ruined city of Jericho City, face terrible enemies, cut off limbs to take away their valuable equipment to make you stronger. Strong enough, so you can take on even the most dangerous enemies lurking in the shadows.
The Surge 2 is more brutal and tactical this time around, with even more possibilities. It not only features a new targeting system, but also more abilities, weapons, implants and drones. Thanks to the redesigned engine, environments will take you to a much larger and more expansive landscape than in the original Surge. Besides, the new enemy types and bosses are guaranteed to make your life harder and an improved character development provides more depth to improve your character as individually as possible.
