What is Total War: Warhammer 2: The Hunter & The Beast about?

The Hunter & The Beast commander's package includes two legendary commanders who compete with each other. They have their own targets, mechanics, units and playing styles. Both can be used in the Eye of the Maelstrom and Mortal Realms campaigns, as well as in user-defined and multiplayer battles. Markus Wulfhart leads the Emperor's Expedition and Nakai the Wanderer leads the Jungle Spirit. As Markus Wulfhart expands the interests of the Empire in Lustria, his reputation keeps growing. As a result, he receives a growing selection of increasingly advanced Empire units to support his expeditions. In the Eye of the Maelstrom campaign, Markus will ultimately face the spirit of the jungle, Nakai the Wanderer. Wulfhart's campaign progress is measured by how effectively he fulfils the Emperor's missions. Nakai's faction, offers a unique variation to the Horde style of play. In this cation, each army can develop settlement infrastructure the same ways as an ordinary settlement. This infrastructure is maintained as the Horde moves and can be developed during future camp periods. Be careful: when a Horde is destroyed in battle, its entire infrastructure is too.
