Tower-Defense is a genre that I like to play again and again, because I like the principle so much, especially when you can upgrade your defenses and just about block the ever-stronger enemy waves. And that's exactly what Toy Soldiers is all about, only as much fun as it sounds like was not available at the end of the day. The game is not only very short with its 4 hours, but also quite monotonous. You have the possibility to intervene in the turret yourself and to control it, as well as a lot of other construction towers, but the whole thing is not really captivating. Nevertheless, it is entertaining as a gap filler for in between and that's exactly why Toy Soldiers gets the green thumb from me. For fans of world war scenarios and the Tower-Defense genre, Toy Soldiers can still be an interesting title on sale. I can therefore only recommend it to a limited extent. Rating: 68/100
