Combat mechanics, the original character models, and talent trees have been revised to contribute to the authentic experience. If you want to quest and farm without being bothered, choose a PvE or - for more role-playing - an RP-PvE server. You can still play PvP at any time by flicking a switch or in designated battlegrounds. Play which character you really like. Balancing will not change and the pros and cons of each class and of the races are fixed. Some races have particularly strong race-specific abilities and spells that others don't have. Except for druids and shamans, who have their own forms of travel, you'll only travel by foot up to level 40 - and the game world is huge.
