What is Yasai Ninja about?
Yasai Ninja is a Hack & Slash adventure set in a particular Feudal Japan that tells the story of two veggie-heroes, Kaoru Tamanegi and Broccoli Joe, who will have to learn how to cooperate to fight their way through multiple dangers.
Friendship, personal growth, honor and teamwork are combined in this epic tale.
Unlock new abilities, levels and achievements, and use the special skills of each character to beat puzzles and brawls in order to defeat the corrupt Shogun!
Yasai Ninja is a mixture of 3D hack'n slay and 2D jump'n run. We control a disgraced spring onion samurai and a broccoli ninja that seems to come from the New York Bronx in 1998. Optically the game is just acceptable in the 3D range, the optics in the jump'n run level is quite decent. The level design of the Hack'n Slay Parts is boring and in principle we only kill other vegetable warriors and flip switches. The level design of the Jump'n Run is challenging and interesting. Generally, one must say of course, who has made the game, in my opinion has been addicted to some time: the series Samurai Champloo, Asian vegetable pan and crack. If you're not put off by the hard-borderline visuals and gameplay in Hackn'n Slay, it's quite entertaining. My tip: Listen to playlists with a mix of Samurai Champloo's soundtrack and Cypress Hill songs and eat fried noodles from the local Asiafoodverchecker. But don't touch crack!
