Just Cause 4 - Deep Dive into action

Just Cause 4 - Deep Dive into action

One of the last big titles of the fading video game year of 2018 is the open world action-adventure Just Cause 4. It will be released for consoles and PC soon and will once again focus on the protagonist Rico Rodriguez. According to the developers, the game will remain true to the roots of the series and offer players a large open game world, plenty of action and various wacky gadgets.

Rico Rodriguez

Once again, players will slip into the virtual shoes of Rico Rodriguez, protagonist since the very first game, who has gradually mutated into a quasi-superhero. After having pushed not only one, but several dictators from their pedestals in the predecessors, this time he directly brings the war to the bad guys.

As usual, Rico not only has access to various flying and driving devices, but he also stands out with his simple, yet ingenious combo of parachute, wingsuit and grappling hook. Thanks to these three gadgets, he can move across the entire map of the world at a rapid pace without virtually ever touching the ground. At the push of a button, players can release the parachute or wingsuit and switch directly between a dive and a smooth glide.

While it may take a few minutes to get used to changing between the 3 modes, afterwards, you won't want to miss this feeling of freedom anymore.

There is a lot of ways to move in Just Cause 4. Go by plane, car or use the grapple hook.

Realistic weather effects

As rain and the like were only nice to look at in the past games, they now have clear gameplay effects. The weather can change at any time and realistic wind physics can influence your flight. Therefore, the different special weather caprioles of the adventure are really impressive. For example, there will be tornadoes in the grass plains, sandstorms in the deserts, tropical storms in the jungle and blizzards in the snow-covered mountains.

Changing weather will play a big part in Just Cause 4. Watch out for tornadoes!
