Read Dead Redemption 2: You are not alone

Slowly but surely, things are getting serious around the release of Red Dead Redemption 2. With the help of several pictures, developer Rockstar Games has now taken a closer look at some of the characters that play an important role and that you will encounter during the course of the game. They are are not only made visible for the first time but also provided with a quote that characterizes them.

Old acquaintances & new faces

Previously, several characters had been confirmed for the Wild West sequel, including John Marston, Abigail Marston, Pearson the Cook, Bill Williamson from Red Ded Revolver and Gang Leader Dutch van de Linde.

Read Dead Redemption 2: Arthur Morgan

In Red Dead Redemption 2 you will see the gang, including Marston, standing at the climax of their celebrity. At that very moment, where everything begins to fall apart. The story revolves around the protagonist Arthur Morgan, Dutch's right hand. He was adopted into the gang by Dutch as a little boy and Arthur thinks the gang is his family.

But things change. There is no place for the gang's way of life in an increasingly modern world and the gang has to flee through America and Dutch's influence on the gang continues to decline. They are a group of fully realized characters who all have their own relationships with each other and with Arthur.

Read Dead Redemption 2: Jack Marston

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on 26 October 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. An implementation for PC remains questionable. Apart from an alleged leak due to the Linkedin profile of a former developer of Rockstar Games, an official announcement is still to come.
