Cheap games

GameGator has existed since 2017. A lower price on a game page is an offer from one of those stores, in USD, EUR, or GBP. It can be lower because that store is discounting the edition, because the key is limited to a region, or because the offer is for a different launcher. Read the offer name, the region, and the launcher before you treat two rows as the same product.

We check every store before it joins GameGator, and we keep the list to a high standard. The stores we compare are Steam, Epic Games, GOG, Ubisoft, Humble, Fanatical, Green Man Gaming, 2Game, Eneba, G2A, Kinguin, Gamivo, Driffle, HRK, K4G, Electronic First, MMOGA, Gameseal, and Difmark. You buy on the store site. GameGator shows the offer and links you there.

We test prices so the amount on GameGator matches the price on the store. That amount is after the store discount, in the currency you selected (USD, EUR, or GBP). Tax, a payment fee, or a change after our last check can still make checkout different. When we have a coupon code for that offer, it is shown on the price row. The chart on a game page is the lowest price we stored for that game on each day, for about the last six months.

Open the game page and filter by the Steam launcher, your platform, and your region when a region is listed. The default sort is the lowest price after the discount on that offer. A cheaper row can be another edition or a region-locked key. The offer name is the title the store sent us. You then complete the purchase on that store site.

Check the edition, the launcher (Steam, Epic, Ubisoft, GOG, and others), the platform, and the region. A key can be limited to certain countries. Confirm system requirements on the store or publisher page. Read the refund policy published by the store before you pay. Refunds, invalid keys, and activation problems are handled by the store that sold the key.

Create a Steam account at store.steampowered.com/join if you need one, and install the Steam client from store.steampowered.com/about. Sign in. Open the Games menu at the top of the Steam window and choose Activate a Product on Steam. Enter the key from the store. If Steam accepts it, the game is added to your library. We read each store feed and keep the offers it sends, in USD, EUR, or GBP. A game page shows those offers, and you can filter by platform, store, region, and launcher. The usual order is the lowest price after the store discount. Each offer shows how long ago it last changed. If a store stops listing an offer, we take it down. If the price, name, region, or launcher changes, we update it. If nothing changed, we leave the offer as it is. Cover art and descriptions come from IGDB.
