A beautiful TD game with the rare peculiarity that it is for friends of classic and friends of hectic TD games.
Similar to many hectic TD games, it is important to access individual towers more often to activate special abilities (repair, shield,... rage, etc. ). The big difference between Anomaly Defenders and most hectic TDs is that this can all be done during a pause in the game. Fans of hectic TDs simply ignore the pause button and fans of classic TDs (like me) can implement their tactics during a break. In the last third of the 24 maps you have to access a lot of the individual towers. If they are paralyzed not only by enemies but also by random EMP storms, the necessary and repetitive micromanagement somewhat inhibits the flow of the game.
