Blurring the lines between cautious strategy and unbridled mayhem, Superhot is the FPS in which time moves only when you move. No regenerating health bars. No conveniently placed ammo drops. It's just you, outnumbered and outgunned, grabbing the weapons of fallen enemies to shoot, slice, and maneuver through a hurricane of slow-motion bullets.
After 29 hours in the sterile, white world of SUPERHOT, here my review of the game.
SUPERHOT is a shooter with a special feature, because here the time only moves when the player moves. With this you can take a short break and have time to... make a plan, how you can best defeat the opponents who are standing in front of you. All in all, an interesting and funny idea. You basically have 3 firearms, 5 melee weapons (including your own fists) and numerous items to throw, even if these only briefly stun your opponents. The story of the game has a quite interesting approach and remains exciting in its own way. Then there is an endless mode and a good bit of challenges. The challenges are sometimes really difficult and challenging (they get right to Isaac: Rebirth level;)).
