The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Miniseries stars the iconic, blade-wielding character from Robert Kirkmans best-selling comic books. Haunted by her past, and coping with unimaginable loss and regret, the story explores Michonnes absence between issues #126 and #139 of the comic book. Includes access to all three episodes in this all-new miniseries from the award-winning studio, Telltale Games. Players will discover what took Michonne away from Rick, Ezekiel, and the rest of her trusted group… and what brought her back.
All right for fans, okay for Telltale lovers, but not really good. br>
If you could distribute stars on Steam it would be 3/5 and 6/10 respectively.
That's my conclusion after episode 2 of 3 The Walking Dead: Michonne is a 'Miniseries'... and you can see that clearly. On the one hand the total playing time is relatively low, with about 1-1, 5 hours playing time per episode we get an estimated 4 to 4 1/2 hours for the whole game, on the other hand the story is even more scripted than in the other parts of The Walking Dead game series. While the other games are still trying to give the player the impression that his decisions have an impact on the action, The Walking Dead: Michonne makes it relatively clear that everything comes down to the same result and we can only decide how to achieve this goal. This is partly due to the limited playing time, the consequences of our decisions become apparent much earlier than in 'real'. Telltale series, on the other hand with the story, which is quite manageable until episode 2. But it is still an interesting story that is told there and worth a look for fans of The Walking Dead Franchise. But in my opinion, The Walking Dead: Michonne doesn't reach the usual high level of fun and tension from other The Walking Dead games. Furthermore, with an estimated 4 1/2 hours of play for 15€, the total length is a bit too small for my taste. 400 days had more scope for a smaller price. Everyone should decide for themselves if 4 1/2 hours of background story about a character, peppered with some action and a lot of quick time events are worth 15€. Therefore, I recommend The Walking Dead: Michonne only to a limited extent.
In the meantime the 3 episodes has appeared. After playing through it, my guess about the game time was confirmed, I got to a little more than 4 hours (and I spent some time afk and in the menu). Episode 3 is in my opinion the best from The Walking Dead: Michonne, but on the whole the game remains only above average.
