A Case of Missing Identity

A point-and-click horror/tragedy visual novel about melding your perception of the world around you. Walk around, drive people to their death, and shape Perdita's existence. It is the world of heroes and Tethers - Humans, as they call themselves. You know nothing, except for this: You are not a Human. You are the shadow of your Tether, a girl who haunts your dream but whose face you've never seen. This city is not your home, but you can learn why others make it so. Wander the empty halls, slip into the living quarters of stray Humans, and learn what makes them tick. Listen to their plights, break their wills, or put an end to their story; the choice is yours, but it will shape who you are. Every step closes the distance between you and the shoes you wish to fill, and every choice sculpts another detail in the pattern of your existence. Eventually, if you run far enough and mold yourself into the perfect shadow, you may even be able to slip into the life of your Tether and dance as her copy. But... Is that really the life you want, though?
