For its new season, the corporation has unveiled the ultimate grand prize: the Free Will Module, a piece of hardware capable of granting true consciousness to a machine. Behind the spectacle lies the tragedy of Dr. Zhang, a once-acclaimed cybernetics pioneer of Aether Cybernetics who was ruined and disgraced following a catastrophic laboratory disaster.
