What is Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Italia about?
Italia DLC expands Euro Truck Simulator 2 with SCS Softwares rendition of the beautiful European country Italy with its rich history, modern industry, traditional architecture, and diverse natural environments.
Experience the typical features of Italy from behind the wheel. Explore roads leading through the Apennines, where tunnels and bridges alternate with scenic vistas and curvy segments, opening the view to distant horizons. Descend from the height of mountain passes to the shores of the seas, travel from manicured farmland to wilder and more arid places.
The geography and shape of Italy have led to a comparatively high concentration of cities in the Italia map expansion. Local industries contain, among others, famous places like Carrara marble quarries and Europe‘s largest Steelworks in Taranto.

I have a garage in Palermo now! Awesome! And what I saw on the way there is absolutely great. The vegetation also looks much better and is more diverse. It's a pleasure to cruise without a trailer. The ferry port of Villa San Giovanni is enchanting. You can see the attention to detail. In other games there are still only boring prefabs. And the AI vehicles have changed a bit. There's a Jeep Renegade and Alfa Romeo now. SCS has really done a good job. Thank you, SCS! ! ! This DLC is as well made as Mexico for ATS. Gladly more. . . And now, I have to go. Italy is big. Ciao! Update: I've been on the road in Sicily now and visited several quarries etc. It is simply unbelievable fun to play this simulator and it is becoming more and more authentic. There are now animated roller shutters with flashing lights and barriers at the entrances to the companies. The loading bridge in the tank farm also looks like the original. I used to drive a tanker. So I know it quite well. And then there are plastic bags and garbage on the side of the road - is (unfortunately) also realistic. SCS- you are simply the best! As Tina Turner already knew ;-)
