Final Fantasy XV is an action role-playing video game being developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is the fifteenth main installment in the Final Fantasy series, and forms part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis subseries, which also includes Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Type-0.
Originally a spin-off titled Final Fantasy Versus XIII exclusive to the PlayStation 3, it is a heavy departure from previous games, providing a darker atmosphere that focuses on more realistic human characters than previous entries. The game features an open-world environment and action-based battle system similar to the Kingdom Hearts series and Type-0, incorporating the ability to switch weapons and other elements such as vehicle travel and camping.
First of all: This is my first FF part I've ever played, and I can't compare it with other titles in the series.StoryI Played it through yesterday and experienced ups and downs. Up to chapter 6/7, the story was told at super narrative speed, but then the events rush. You could understand everything, but I would have liked to have had more time to explore some places in more detail. (Refers to chapter 7-13) Since I'm someone who wants to do some side quests in between the main story to explore the game world, that was a big drawback. The Last mission was great, though. Without spoiling: It was one of the best ends I've ever experienced and touched me so much, that I was able to finish with FF XV agreeably. What Was also a lot about the four main characters, which you take to your heart right from the start. Each of them is special in some way, but the 4 are a great match.game World/graphics/combat systemThe game world is vast and the graphics are also contemporary; there is hardly anything to criticize here. What bothers me here are the short frame breaks. From time to time you have the feeling that it jolts a bit and that's not allowed at all! Hope a patch will fix it.The the fighting system is already successful, but you need a little time to have everything in view, which is not bad at all.FazitAll in all a great game with small weaknesses, which I like to recommend. Although I've played through the story, FF still left me a lot of motivation to explore even the lowest corner of the game world.
