What is Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell about?

After the space faring antics of Saints Row IV, many fans asked what we could do next… the answer? Shoot The Devil in the face. Play as either Johnny Gat or Kinzie Kensington as you tear apart Hell in a quest to save the leader of the Saints' soul. Historical icons, old friends, older enemies, a talking gun, a full length musical number, and a whole lot of other shenanigans all await you in the open world standalone expansion playground that is Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell.

Saints Row remains true to his line. Gat out of Hell, by Deep Silver, is as wonderfully crazy as his predecessors, both the missions and some of the weapons. To the plot only so much: The boss of the Saints (thus the character, which one played in the predecessors) is kidnapped by Satan to marry his daughter and Gat as well as Kinzie naturally follow their boss into hell to free him. The story is funny throughout and the individual characters are very likeable, each in their own way. With Satan Deep Silver has once again managed to create a cool and yet somehow sympathetic bad guy. The only criticism: 1. the story is simply too short. After about 5 or 6 hours you are already through. The ending can only be played with Johnny. That fits the story best, but since I didn't like Johnny as the main character and played almost only with Kinzie, I didn't find the solution optimal. The game itself impresses again with an open world with numerous activities, weapons and superpowers with which you can let off steam to your heart's content. Only car lovers will not get their money's worth as in the predecessor, as a mobile vehicle is again pointless thanks to the superpowers. All the tasks you have to do in the world or hell, expand the game here again at 15h+, depending on how anxious you are to do everything. The control is a bit more complex but still quick to learn thanks to the superpowers. Graphically, Saints Row once again looks first class. Even though hell is a little sadder than steelport, the individual districts are very different from each other and give the individual areas their own look and charm. The opponents look pretty cool, especially the big demons. Moreover, the weapon design is ingenious, especially inertia (a movable armchair with Mgu00b4s and rocket launchers). Moreover, the films are well staged and really make a lot. The sound is also very good again. Especially in firefights, the music makes you feel good. The synchro is also very good again, especially during the vocal interludes. All in all, an outstanding game that I really enjoyed. If you like an Action OpenWorld shooter, you can strike with peace of mind here. Only those who didn't like the special Saints Row humor in the predecessors should perhaps rather keep their hands-off Gat out of Hell.
